I had Shingles in Sept., kidney infections in Oct, and Gregg mangled his thumb in Nov. It was a terrible fall.

Small landscape on paper
Not all of my landscapes are about the sickening environment. This is of the hill outside my studio.
NC Landscape
The state legislature of North Carolina has shoved a lot of offensive legislation down our throats. Forget jobs and education! Most paintings of the NC landscape show the natural beauty. This painting is not. Named for the toxic NCHB2, I am disgusted.
Portents
Some paintings leap onto the canvas and are done. Not this one. You may not see the struggle, but I know it is there.

I do not usually work small, but the Haywood County Arts Council (HCAC) Small Small Works show is in Nov.& Dec. The painting that I showed in the Master Gardener show was 20″x16″. This one is 6″x6″. Change of scale, brushes, focus.
