Pundits talk about “populist rage” as a way to trivialize the anger and fear coursing through the middle class. But they have it wrong. Families understand with crystalline clarity that the rules they have played by are not the same rules that govern Wall Street. They understand that no American family is “too big to fail.” They recognize that business models have shifted and that big banks are pulling out all the stops to squeeze families and boost revenues. They understand that their economic security is under assault and that leaving consumer debt effectively unregulated does not work.

The first couple of days seem like a great leap forward because you cover up all of the white of the support. Every little bit adds up, and someday I’ll have a painting!
Christmas spirals?
I struggled w/ spirals all winter, and wasn’t wowed, except for the one the eagle eyed Mr. Mills picked up. If I want Christmas cards, I have to start now, and this is one. It’s sharpie on paper. Once I decide on the image, I will make a painting, so it will look quite different.

Serious
This is a night-blooming-sirius(sp?) It is really red, and has never had so many blooms. You may see this image in future paintings.
Changes
Little did I know when I started thinking of these spirals as “Changes” how prescient that was. Gregg’s crash certainly has changed our lives. We are thankful that no other cars or people were involved.

snowed in, again
This is ridiculous! You’d think we were still in Chicago! I AM getting a lot of work done, but I would love to be able to drive to town when I want to.
I’ve tried painting
my driveway, not in western perspective, but flat like African art. However I’ve put the mountain in “correctly”. To get all of the snow you’d think I’d just paint it titanium white, w/ a black ribbon for the road. There was a lot of color in the River, so I tried it. Now I have to wait for it to dry enuf to add in some white hightlights. Also, the light is very different when it’s snowing, than when the sun comes out. THAW! I’ll make the rest up! More on the Tree of Life.

I added a lot more paint to the top of the tree, with the painting upside down. So there will be drip marks flowing “up”. I also added a little space ship w/ a solar array. When this dries enuf, I will highlight some areas.
