I’m working on a series of collages titled Corporate Clones.  This is the Doctor.

I still think a civil protest against Bank of America is called for.  My idea is to trace the outline of your shoe, write your comments in the image and mail it to BofA headquarters.   Inundate them with paper.  Good for the PO and the firemarshall could declare their offices a fire hazard.  Not so good for the environment, you KNOW they don’t believe in recycling.

We wait and pray as Bobbi makes the long walk home.

The title of this work shows my disdain for the incessant robocalls from BofA.  What part of NO MONEY don’t they understand.

Also some progress on Chemo Today.Destroyer is on it’s side so the paint would run.    A nod to Helen Frankenthaler.

A recurring theme in my paintings are boxes that signify prayers or angels or wishes.    I am going to make small paper boxes to hang in Chemo Today that will have prayers written on the inside.  I experimented with using paper and a box that I was going to recycle.  Thanks to an interest in handmade books I have the tools to make little boxes.  I tied these, so someone could untie it and read the message.  A little like a fortune cookie.  But that may not be practical if they don’t put it back.  Or does that matter?

Good models are hard to find!

This is the back panel of Chemo Today.  It’s 87″x48, and will be 7 inches narrower when we attach the walls.  

Hey Charles, this is the one I told you about.

I used a ruler to get the straight line.  I have a problem with lines or edges.  I guess I’m not a crispy critter.

It was warm enuf to do some of the carpentry on Chemo Today.  We ran out of wood glue, of all things.   Gregg works Mon. & Tues. so it will be Wed before we get back to it.  Do you have any travel posters or postcards that you’d like to include.   Despite her frustration with no hair and the therapy, she still has hopes, dreams and plans

A Good Marriage can mean the joining of two walls.   The screen is sitting on paint cans.

I’ve been working on the stones.   There is quite a difference in the way the paint is handled from one side to the other.   In the end it all has to balance.

We priced materials for Chemo Today.  It will be Monday before we can buy anything.   We found some nice details.  I have to remind Gregg that this doesn’t have to be built to NC building code!
